A new way to build business software

Data Chassis turns a description of your business process into a fully deployed, running system — without the traditional development overhead.

The problem

Generic software doesn’t fit.
Custom development is too slow.

Every growing business eventually hits the same wall. The generic tools — CRMs, ERPs, project management platforms — are built for thousands of different businesses, not yours. You end up managing spreadsheets alongside the system, building workarounds, and losing data at handoff points.

Custom software development solves the fit problem but creates a new one. Quotes run to six figures. Timelines stretch to a year or more. Projects stall. And when the business changes, the software doesn’t change with it — you are back to workarounds, or back to a developer.

Data Chassis is built to close this gap.

Step one

Describe your business

The system plan is the heart of Data Chassis. It is a precise, structured description of everything your system needs to do — your data models, your processes, your application structure, your user roles.

You do not write the plan in code. You describe your business to us in plain terms: what data you work with, what processes your team runs, what different users need to see and do. Our team works with you to formalise that into a system plan — the complete, executable specification that Data Chassis builds from.

This step is collaborative. We ask questions, you provide answers. The result is a shared document that both sides understand — not an opaque specification understood only by engineers.

Step two

Data Chassis builds the application

From your system plan, Data Chassis generates a complete application — every service, API endpoint, database schema, and user interface component is produced automatically by platform builders.

The result is not a prototype or a starting point. It is a fully working system: a deployed web application your team can use, with your data model, your workflows, and your business logic built in.

No manual coding is required for the standard system. The platform generates tested, production-grade output from the plan. If your system requires bespoke integrations or custom logic beyond the standard builder outputs, the Data Chassis team handles that as part of the same project.

Step three

Deploy and run

Data Chassis deploys your system to managed infrastructure and runs it on your behalf. Hosting, TLS certificates, database backups, monitoring, and platform support are all included in the service.

You access your system through a web browser. Nothing to install, nothing to configure. Your team can start working in the system the day it deploys.

Multiple environments are supported from day one. Run a test site alongside your live system — evaluate changes before they reach production, without maintaining a separate deployment pipeline.

After launch

Your system grows with your business

Businesses change. Your system plan can change with them. When you need a new field, a new module, or a restructured workflow, you update your system plan. Data Chassis applies the change — handling any required data migration and redeploying your system automatically.

Additive changes — new fields, new views, new modules — are seamless and do not require downtime. Structural changes that affect existing data are planned in advance with the Data Chassis team to ensure your live data is handled correctly. There are no rewrites and no “version 2” projects. The platform is designed for systems that evolve.

Built in, not bolted on

Security and access control from day one

Every Data Chassis system includes a full security and access control layer as a standard part of the platform — not an optional extra.

Authentication

Secure user login is built into every system. No third-party auth integration required.

Role-based access

Define roles and permissions at the application, module, and record level. Users see exactly what they need to see — nothing more.

Encrypted secrets

Credentials and sensitive configuration are stored in an encrypted vault — never in plain text, never in environment variables.

Structured logging

Full audit and diagnostic logging is included in every system — useful for debugging, compliance, and support.
